These are from a village festival I went to. The costumes, music and dancing were amazing but I seemed to attract just as much attention being perhaps the first westerner to visit this remote place. The kids look great in their traditional costumes and the parents were keen to have them photographed.
Some more photography that I made in Guangxi Province in China last year. I had intended to exhibit these, perhaps I still will, but moving home and business has kept me too busy recently. The move and catching up with work meant I missed out on going to again China this Winter so instead I am looking back at last year’s visit.
Took a trip to the Scottish Highlands to celebrate my wife’s birthday and climb a mountain with my Dad. A great trip and as usual I found time to take some photographs. We were blessed with good weather and I managed to capture some spectacular skies. I may print some of these add them in with a future exhibition. What do you think?
My short stay in Kuala Lumpur was thoroughly enjoyable and full of surprises. Staying just across the park from what was for a decade the worlds tallest building (and remains the worlds tallest two towered building) gave plenty of opportunities to capture the city’s most famous icon. The Malaysian Airlines jet had only just gone missing at this point and everyone was talking about it.
